Bookshelf - Programming c#

Jesse Liberty’s Programming C# (4th Edition)  is one of the few programming books that I’ve bought in recent years. Mostly, I use O’Reilly’s Safari service, as books don’t last me long.

It’’s very well written. Not only does it cover the language very well, it has, in my opinion, some of the best writing to explain object-orientation to a programmer coming from a non-OO background.
