No Release? Buy it up!

According to the Telegraph, a fan of the TV series Joking Apart has bought the rights and is releasing it himself. Sounds good.
Is there anyone out there who would like to do the same thing with the Absolutely? I loved that series, and it wouldn’t be dated. It’s not out on DVD, which means that someone isn’t making any revenue from it.
