Picasa on Ubuntu
Posted on May 28th, 2006 by Tim Almond
I like free, open source software, but I don’t view it with zealotry. I like Ubuntu a lot, and respect that they believe in everything being free as in beer, free as in freedom.
But I’ll use what I like.
Which brings me to Picasa, Google’s excellent photo manager. It’s what I use on Windows for organising my photos. On Ubuntu, it works just the same (undoubtedly, there’s a lot of shared code).
It’s good to see more mainstream software appearing on Linux,
