Lechlade-On-Thames
I visited the beautiful town of Lechlade-on-Thames and took some photographs. I’m starting to really enjoy the photography.
First, a panorama of the Thames.
This time, unlike prior panorama shots, I used the panorama setting on the camera, which seemed to hold the exposure settings, thus ensuring consistent light.
There was also lots of wildlife around.
On the way back to Swindon, I decided to visit the 11th Century church at Inglesham.
I’ve driven down the A361 many times and never called in. It was worth a visit. What struck me was how it was unlike most old churches that I know. But I guess that’s because most are post-gothic, which didn’t arrive until the 12th Century.
It’s no longer a practising church, but was interesting inside. Unfortunately, the light inside the church from the windows meant that getting the light right was difficult. There are some interior photographs and more details on this website.
