Programme: Scooby Doo. Channel: BBC
In light of your recent intervention over Tom and Jerry, I’d like to complain about Scooby-Doo being shown on the BBC.
During the epilogue (after the "I’d've gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids" moment), Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are frequently seen eating multidecked sandwiches that appear to be at least a foot tall. Also, Scooby-Doo is frequently encouraged to behave by the use of "scooby snacks".
I don’t think that this is setting a particularly good example to children in these health-conscious times with childhood obesity running at record levels. At least, can we have Scooby-Doo being given some carrot sticks?
And? Did you get a response?
Not yet! It takes them a little time, as a rule.
