Wedding Photography
Posted on September 10th, 2006 by Tim Almond
I was once asked to be the photographer for a friend’s wedding. At 24 hours notice. The reason would have been because I’m considered, in the family to be a reasonably good photographer. The only problem is that I mostly do countryside, landscapes and architecture.
Having done it, I would argue that wedding photography is a subject all of it’s own. Beyond the aesthetic problems, there’s a whole lot else to deal with.
So, it’s good to see that Damian Counsell has started writing a weblog on the subject called the Wedding Photography Blog for anyone who, like me, is coming at it fresh.
I will pass this link on to a friend of mine who is a wedding photographer, but not a blogger.
Why don’t you post pics on your site, btw, if you are something of a snapper? Where is your flickr link?
