There are a number of events being organised around the country under the title of Oxjam, which is going to give a load of money to Oxfam.

One of the events is in Swindon and being organised by a friend of mine, Rosa under the banner of Pitch Nine Promotions. There are two bands playing at The Apartment, Havelock Square, Swindon on 26th October 06. It’s right in the centre of town.

The first band are Paris Motel who sound decent and have been picked up by people like Janice Long and the NME. The second is Piney Gir who has a country/indie thing going on and has played festivals like Bestival and SXSW and featured in places as diverse as The Sun and The Independent.

Sounds great, and it’s only going to be £6 on the door.
