Blogless Wordpress

When I decided to build the site I’m doing, I opted to use Wordpress. Before I started, I made sure that I could run Wordpress without any blog at all.
One of the problems is that by default, Wordpress opens up on the blog. Which is where a rather nice little plugin helps out. The Filosofo Home-Page Control, once installed, gives the developer the option to choose a "home page". Just select the page and it’s done. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
