Lightscribe drives

I’ve been trying to read some CDs, and it seems that my DVD drive isn’t working on the PC. Every CD is failing, which suggests that anyway.
Thing is, I’m wondering about one of these DVD writers with Lightscribe. Any readers have one, do they work well, and can you recommend a model you are using? I’m thinking of getting the HP one, or maybe a lite-on.
