That’s fantastic, are they easy to download, I’ve read some of the comments from the link and it comments on their size. Not sure I have the greatest speakers, but I would love to give it a try.
Incidentally, I was reading about DABs today and their poor reception. I head a BBC journalist last year say that they were not good quality, but that next year a new format of ditigal radio was coming out which would be much better. I shall probably make the switch then too. Do you know anything about it?
The main thing is that the recordings are in a format called Ogg Vorbis. Which you may need to convert or get a plugin for your media player. The reason is to do with patents on the MP3 format, where Ogg Vorbis has no patents.
Regarding DAB, I’ve heard this - that at best, an FM transmission outclasses DAB. But DAB gives you a whole load of extra compression which allows for extra channels.
