Plan 9 from Google Video

I only recently discovered that Ed Wood’s craptacular Plan 9 from Outer Space is in the public domain. It was made in 1959, so should still be under copyright. However, I think that the US copyright used to require renewal, and I presume that someone thought it had no value.
It’s often considered as one of the worst films ever made, and provides people with entertainment looking at it. It’s probably why it’s managed to step out of the IMDB Bottom 100. Or maybe just because Uwe Boll’s pushing other films out.
