Do you have any ideas how to solve the NHS computer cocku-up too?

It’s a bigger problem than that. My answer starts with: take the NHS out of public hands, and fund the service as insurance. Then, each hospital/provider could choose computer systems as they required them. The computer systems would be provided for each hospital as they required them, and they would be considerably less ambitious than the current plan.
