Yes, an excellent article. I am a trustee for Headway, a charity which provides rehabilitative care for brain injured adults. I value our independence and the CEO is constantly aware of using the donations responsibly, but at the same time having to run it in a businesslike fashion to balance the books. So few charities don’t know how to manage that and are run by well meaning people with no background in this area.

I also feel everyone should do voluntary work, it is so rewarding.
