paint.net

I’m more of a developer than a designer, so my needs for graphics tools are limited. It’s mostly resizing, making a large text image and perhaps a little image retouching. I don’t need Photoshop, and I find GIMP unfriendly.
So, I’m glad I came across Paint.net. It’s a Windows-based image manipulation tool that runs on Windows XP and does what I want from an image tool. It’s also open-source.
