Wordpress as a CMS - revised
Posted on February 11th, 2007 by Tim Almond
Just this week, I did a presentation to a number of geeks* on how to use Wordpress as a CMS.
I’m in the process of converting timalmond.com to Wordpress (was going to start today, but a desire for high-quality shirts and a cold got the better of me). I’ve just checked the specs of Wordpress 2.1, and there are the following features listed:-
- You can set any "page" to be the front page of your site, and put the latest posts somewhere else, making it much easier to use WordPress as a content management system.
- Pages can now be drafts, or private.
There’s also a whole load of other cool stuff like AJAXified comment approval.
