Software Pricing - Shop Around
Posted on March 11th, 2007 by Tim Almond
A word of advice before you buy software - shop around.
You might think that when you download a 30-day trial from a supplier, that choosing the "order now" option would be the cheapest way. Seeing how it’s direct, without media, box, delivery charge or paying a distributor.
In the case of at least 2 products I know, you’d be wrong.
I’m thinking of buying Acronis Disk Director. I’ve downloaded it and it looks nice.
If I buy it from Acronis as part of clicking "buy it", it costs $49 (I guess about £25). However, if I buy it from Amazon, it costs £15.
