So, you bought an iPhone, unlocked it, and now, you’re phones are getting bricked.

Unlocking file formats is sometimes just a necessary part of life. The people who reverse engineer the Microsoft .doc formats are doing it so that Open Office users can read and write them. They don’t have a choice if they want to interoperate.

But, you had a choice not to get an iPhone. Why waste your money buying a phone that’s designed to be locked, only to spend time unlocking it so you can run applications that you have to shoehorn in, when you could have bought an E65 or an N95 that run 3rd party applications straight out of the box?

I’m sure the fanboys will blame AT&T or anyone else but Apple for this.
