Blog Offline with Google Gears
I missed the whole Google Gears party, which is a shame really. In the past, I’ve worked on applications that do something similar to Google Gears. I used to know it as spooling.
This offline application allows someone running Google Gears to use their browser to blog, and if they’re offline, it will save the information until they’re connected, at which time it will synchronise. Looking through the code, it looks like Google have done some good work with it.
