Street Photography

From The BBC:-
A man who took a photograph of an ill woman outside an Edinburgh bar has been fined £100 after being branded “unchivalrous” by a sheriff.
Unchivalrous? We’re going to bring chivalry into the law, are we? Can we also start rounding up cads and bounders, too?
But Sheriff Kenneth Hogg said the matter “could be […]

Dragonfly

Saw this chap today, thought I’d share it…

Photography Laws

Curly has some great blogging about becoming as suspect at a fun fair after taking some pictures. Austin Mitchell had something similar happen and tabled an Early Day Motion on the subject and the whole thing’s been brought out into the open on the news and the BBC. Ministers have now made a clear statement […]

Swindon Panorama

I decided to try and use the Hugin software for image stitching, but I couldn’t get on with it. Then, today I was checking through the box for my Canon EOS looking for the strap when I decided to see what was on the CDs (I mostly avoid CDs of manufacturer software, preferring to use […]

Photography

I loved this quirkly looking tree at Lydiard Park near Swindon.

The early evening light is good at the moment…

Ideas for a Better Britain

Credit to Timmy for find this. Here’s Rory Bremner, a man who should remember that he’s far more talented as a mimic than he is as a politician:-
I would introduce compulsory youth community and environmental projects for 18-year-olds. A six-month programme split between community projects in the UK and abroad – like a […]

Windsor Photos 1

It wasn’t long until I got some good conditions in Windsor for some photography. The obvious subject in Windsor is of course the castle.
So here’s some shot from near the park and one close up. The close up has had a sepia adjustment done, something that I rarely like, but think works quite well here.
If […]
